Introduction
ERA4Health launched its first Joint Transnational Call (JTC) for research proposals, co-funded by the European Commission (EC), in January 2023 (JTC1-HealthEquity).
In the framework of this call, 19 funding organizations from 16 countries, together with the EC, joined forces to fund the best collaborative transnational research projects under the topic of ” Increasing health equity through promoting healthy diets and physical activity”.
Ultimately, 10 transnational consortia were selected for funding with a total budget of 13.52 million Euros.

In this call, 10 proposals were funded, with the support of European Commission co-funding, with a total requested budget of 12,94 M€.
